The
GREENHOUSE
Series

This series takes you through the greenhouses of Wilhelma, Stuttgart. The greenhouses extend from the Moorish garden to the entrance area of Wilhelma. They were built between 1852 and 1853 in place of several small glasshouses and the pineapple greenhouse built in 1839. The first animals at Wilhelma were kept in one of the two domed houses of the greenhouse wing in 1854. From 2017 to 2019, the houses were extensively renovated and are now used again as a botanical garden.
